To swim with whale sharks it is necessary to go to the area of La Paz Bay, which is in the Baja California peninsula about 2 hours north of Cabo San Lucas.
You can go by car or use other earth transportation, but as we recommended with Cabo Pulmo, taking a boat trip to La Paz will improve a lot your experience.
The whale shark season in the Los Cabos area starts in October and finishes in April. A personal encounter with whale sharks is also a great experience for children and non-swimmers.
